Elemental

Elemental

It seems so simple.
Perhaps it always has been,
though murk obscured 
for a time.
To describe it is 
 beyond and basic,
elusive and primary.
A soft strength,
free flow, 
glowing power,
 breezy breath.
A tender rhythm that

                                                             undulates inward,

                        ripples outward,
buoys and balances
 one’s soul.
It is in us.
and of us.
It grounds us,
carries us,
powers us,
inspires us.
It’s free.
It’s freedom.
It’s elemental.
It’s…
                     Love.
