Renewal

At times I’m troubled
and it can be difficult
to fully distinguish the roots.
I know them to be diverse,
containing grief and sorrow,
sometimes anger.
At the same time
I feel a foundation 
of peace, truth,
unconditional Love.
I know to trust in healing,
so I close my eyes,
slide into stillness,
allow my body to repose.
As hurts uncoil
and peace widens,
I discern a dynamic spectrum
of spirited colors
that pulse and interlace
in a vibrant sort of dance.
As if the colors of my light
refract and reveal
 a brilliant cosmic display
of me.
They shift slowly 
to soft, soothing pastels
that have a joyful energy
of renewal.
No diminishment at all.
Later I gaze to spring trees
blossoming fully
in the foreground
of a vivid evening sky
I breathe,
    smile,
trust
in the fullness 
of me.
