A hard fought one...

 What’s True

This beautiful valley,
 part of her life
since before she can remember.
This day,
though all appears
still and frozen,
full of movement and memories,
sensations and stories,
feelings and folklore
for her.

An eclectic mix swirls 

around and through.
Heartache, hope,
anguish, adventure,
confusion, clarity 

mingle
as energy within her
gently drifts.
She smiles sadly,
breathes deeply,
allows her being
 to widen once again.
Though deep despair
is definitely present,
she senses currents
of comfort
as more and more
she trusts
what she knows
to be true.
